Moment of Truth

Though I would never want to be in the hot seat, it is interesting to watch someone else on the seat. Not that I really enjoy them struggling to answer some particularly embarassing questions, but it does give an insight on how people handle themselves and their emotions well.
I mean, how would you answer a question like, 'Do you consider yourself to be a better parent to your children than your mom/dad was to you?' and that too...with your mom sitting in front of you!!
Or answer a question like, 'Have you ever had to hide the fact that you are a jew?' (The contestant was a jew)
Some more questions...
'Do you have any secrets that you know will end your marriage?' (The husband is sitting in front of the wife, who's on the hot seat)
'Are you confident that you will stay with your husband for the rest of your life?'
While it may be easy to frame an answer, it has to be the same as what the contestant had answered on a polygraph test, prior to the filming of the episode.
What I dont like about this show...
1. It just shows that people are willing to weigh money more than ethics...how can one answer really embarassing questions with people close to you sitting right in front of you?
2. Marriages/relationships could be at stake...
3. Which child would want to hear embarassing things from his/her parents? For that matter, which person would wanna hear/want the whole world to hear something so close/personal??
